General Guidelines
Length
Please keep abstracts and proposals concise and adhere to the following word limits:
300-350 words for paper and poster abstracts
500 words for workshop proposals
Language of Papers, Posters and Workshops
Papers, posters and workshops may be presented in any language.
Please ensure that abstract and proposal submissions are accompanied by an English translation.
Identifying information
As submissions will be subjected to peer-review, please ensure that your submission does not include any information that could reveal your identity (e.g. name, affiliation).
Acknowledgement of Sources and Generative AI
Please acknowledge all sources with references where necessary.
The use of generative AI is permitted but must be clearly acknowledged in a short paragraph below the abstract/proposal indicating how it has been used.
Please note that the reference list and acknowledgement of AI do not count towards the word limits.
Evaluation Criteria
All abstract, poster, and workshop submissions will be peer-reviewed and evaluated based on originality, accuracy, and relevance to the sub-themes of the conference.
Paper and Poster Abstracts
Please ensure that your abstract is written in a scholarly but accessible manner.
Please indicate:
- Submission for poster or paper presentation
- Language of presentation/poster
- Title of paper/poster
Abstract should include the following:
- Background and contextualization
- Purpose, aims or objectives
- Methodology
- Key results
- Conclusions
Workshop Proposals
Please ensure that your proposal is detailed and written in an accessible manner.
Please indicate:
- Language of workshop
- Workshop duration
- Special requirements (e.g. extension leads for laptops)
Workshop proposals should include the following:
- Proposed workshop title
- Description of workshop
- Workshop objectives
- Workshop format
- Target audience (including any previous knowledge required)
